WHAT: DISTRICT WIDE FUNDRAISER

WHERE: LAKE ELSINORE DIAMOND, HOME OF THE LAKE ELSINORE STORM PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL* TEAM HOSTING THE INLAND EMPIRE 66ER’S

WHEN: SUNDAY JUNE 1, 2008- GATES OPEN AT 1:00 PM, FIRST PITCH AT 2:08 PM

WHY: TO RAISE FUNDS FOR PROJECTS IN ODUWORO VILLAGE IN UGANDA AS WELL AS HELPING TO FUND YOUR CLUB’S COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS

HOW IT WORKS: It’s easy, Just sell tickets to a fun-filled afternoon of baseball and Rotary fellowship and half of all net proceeds raised go directly to your club. See the attached sign up sheet for specifics. There are no restrictions- Rotarians, family, friends, neighbors, relatives, co-workers and all other baseball fans and Rotary supporters are all welcomed.

Club Presidents- District wide e-mail bulletins will be sent shortly with an endorsement from Governor Mark. Promote this opportunity to raise additional funds for your club’s community service projects at your weekly meetings. You can contact Dave Endress- Temecula Noon or Rick Riegler, Vicky Wallace or Steve Wallace- Lake Elsinore for information or to present the program to your club.

Club Secretaries- Post on your club’s web site or Club Runner site to challenge all to participate 100% in support of Governor Mark as we approach the end of his term and year of outstanding leadership.

Club Treasurers- See the attached sign up sheet. For every game ticket sold your club earns $2.00. Your club sells game tickets for $10.00. For each meal voucher sold your club earns an additional $1.00. Your club sells meal vouchers for $7.00. The Lake Elsinore Storm will account for all funds designated to The District and respective clubs to accommodate distribution within the current fiscal year. Additional donations may be designated on the sign up sheet and will be divided equally between your club and The District. Contact Rick Riegler at 951.245.4487 X 217 for any additional information. All ticket orders will be consolidated by club. Tickets will be held at Will Call. Parking is $5.00 per car.
